- 425 grams (15 oz) of cooked black beans
- 2Â tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder
- 1/2Â cup oatmeal
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2Â cup maple syrup or honey or sweetener of your choice
- 1/4Â teaspoon of salt
- 1/4Â cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
- 1/2Â teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2Â cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2Â cup of almonds
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, process all the ingredients except the almonds and half of the chocolate chips.
- Once all the mixture is well ground, add the remaining chocolate chips.
- Prepare a square buttered pan and ideally covered with parchment paper.
- Empty the mixture into the mold and place the sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 18 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
- Once ready, let cool before serving.
- And optionally, you can add melted chocolate chips, but that would be extra from the ingredients list.
