CHICKEN INGREDIENTS
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Oil for frying (I used cooking spray)
INGREDIENTS SAUCE
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar or whatever you have
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into small pieces, then in a bowl mix all the dry ingredients, and with this mixture add it to the chicken, unite well and remove the excesses.
- Then in a frying pan (ideally non-stick) with a little oil, fry the chicken for about 3 minutes on sides or until golden brown, once ready to reserve.
- In a small bowl dissolve the cornstarch with a little orange juice and add this mixture to a pot along with the rest of the sauce ingredients.
- Cook over medium low heat until the sauce takes consistency.
- When the sauce is ready, mix it with the chicken and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with orange sauce with sesame seeds on top if you like, accompanied with white rice.
